Edith Cowan University (ECU) is one of Australia's most rapidly developing Universities, emerging as a responsive, forward thinking and innovative institution with a dynamic focus on the services and professions. The 20,000 students at ECU either undertake their course at one of five conveniently located campuses, or access the University through its Virtual Campus or remote learning centres.

Situated across five campuses, ECU's students enjoy Perth's Mediterranean climate and outstanding surfing beaches, and vineyards surrounding ECU's southwest regional campus of Bunbury. The resort and holiday destinations of Singapore, Bali and Thailand are only four hours away, in the same time zone. Students come to study at ECU from over 60 countries, including the US, Sweden, China and India.

More than 260 courses are offered at ECU, among them the traditional programs of Business, Nursing, Education and Engineering. ECU uses state-of-the-art teaching technology to be at the forefront of the rapidly growing areas of information and communications science, ranked in the top five of undergraduate and postgraduate enrolments in Communications and Multimedia, in Marketing, Tourism and Leisure, and in Environmental Studies, and in the top 10 for graduate satisfaction in Computer and Information Science.

The Faculty of Business and Public Management offers courses ranging from Police Studies to E-Commerce; Communications, Health and Science, offers courses in Sports Science, Environmental Management and Aviation; Community Services, Education and Social Sciences offers courses in arts, languages, psychology and education; the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts has an international reputation for its courses in the visual and dramatic arts; and the Bunbury Faculty delivers courses in small and medium enterprises, and social work.
