Description
It offers a wide variety of recognised graduate and postgraduate degree
programmes covering almost all fields of scientific research and
knowledge. Currently, the UC has 8 Faculties and 150 Research Centres
and Institutes.
Every year, the UC welcomes more than 1600 international students from
all around the world. Its scientific activities are developed in
international interpersonal and inter-institutional networks. The
different projects developed in consort and cooperation with other
universities enhance innovation and updating in learning contents,
project incubation, curriculum development, scientific research and
training.
In the field of innovation and knowledge transfer, we may count more
than one thousand contracts covering scientific research and the
provision of specialised services, and yet the fact that more than a
dozen research units of the University have received the classification
of excellent from the Foundation for Science and Technology.
Concerning the pedagogical area, the designing of a model for the
certification of the pedagogical quality of the degree programmes and
the implementation of the Virtual Campus project, among are projects,
are noteworthy.
